Book + Art: Gather Me Explores Identity, Literature and Discovery
Readers are invited to explore the themes of identity, representation and self-discovery through Gather Me by Glory Edim and Danielle McKinney during a special Book + Art program.
When: Saturday, July 18, 2-3:30 p.m.
The emotional novel examines how the power of representation in literature can gather the disparate parts that make us who we are and assemble them into a portrait of discovery.
Participants are encouraged to read the book before attending and join a discussion followed by a gallery tour led by Norton Museum staff. E-books and audiobooks are available through the CloudLibrary app.
The event is free, but space is limited. Registration opens May 1 at Norton.org.
