The Palm Beach County Library System is a Climate Resilience Hub!

It's no secret that we as a community have been tackling climate change as weather patterns fluctuate and become more extreme. That's why the Palm Beach County Library System is proud to announce that they have joined the Climate Resilience Hub Network sponsored by Communities Responding to Extreme Weather (CREW), an organization that aims to build climate resilience through education, service, and planning. Climate Resilience Hubs are community institutions that educate and prepare residents for extreme weather events. You will find a variety of educational materials on display at the library; from how to create an Emergency Preparedness Kit to how to recognize heat-related illnesses.

Stay tuned for information on activities and other resources to provide you with the tools you need to prepare for extreme weather events. If you have questions about Climate Resilience Hubs, please email the Hub Coordinator at grs@pbclibrary.org.
