Hello everyone! Dewey the Owl here!
Today, I got to visit a cool little place called the Greenacres Branch Library! The building is super big on the inside and when I looked up, I saw the ceiling and it was shaped like a big snowflake! They had the coolest displays. I immediately felt right at home. I even got to ride a dragon! Life goal accomplished. The staff here are so creative. I even got to sit next to this turkey made out of paper. I then relaxed in one of their glass study rooms where I read up on my favorite celebrity gossip. After, I wandered the shelves looking for my next great read. There were so many books for me to choose from; I just couldn’t decide!
I then visited the Children’s department and saw the largest collection of children’s books in Spanish I had ever seen. It seemed to go on for miles! I felt like someone was watching me, so I started looking around and saw several animals staring back at me with their big, googly eyes. I wasn’t scared though, they seemed friendly! This library was a really cool place to explore and my visit was so fun. I can’t wait to go back to the Greenacres Branch soon…
