Palm Beach County, FL – The Simon Wiesenthal Center’s Mobile Museums of Tolerance (MMOT) is partnering with the Palm Beach County Library System to provide interactive anti-hate education throughout the county. This initiative aims to instill the values of tolerance and respect across our communities.
The MMOT is America’s first mobile program dedicated to combating antisemitism, racism and all forms of hate. It uses immersive technology and hands-on workshops led by specially trained educators to spread the message of tolerance. The Mobile Museum features a wheelchair-accessible classroom that can be transported to various locations, accommodating up to 32 participants per session.
Workshops cover historical topics like the Holocaust and the Civil Rights Movement, along with discussions on intolerance in the current day. Participants are encouraged to become “upstanders” who oppose hate and promote social justice.
