Can I donate books, magazines, DVDs or CDs to the Friends of the Library?

Yes, and thank you in advance for your generosity! The Friends of the Palm Beach County Library System will gladly accept donations for their book sales at every branch location. The funds raised from the book sales directly support Library activities and events as well as other endeavors. The condition of the materials received is very important. For the health and safety of our members, volunteers and staff, we are unable to use items that have been damaged. This includes materials that have been wet, moldy, buggy, have a strong odor, chewed, burnt or dirty. Once materials are received, they become the property of the Friends of the Library and may be used or discarded in a manner deemed appropriate at the direction of the Friends of the Library Board and/or Library staff.
