Library on La Ley 99.5!

Library on the Radio

Library staff were invited to participate in the Saturday Spanish-language radio program, “Contacto Comunitario,” alongside hosts Carlos Mahecha and Helman Ruiz. During the segment, staff shared detailed information about the wide range of services offered by the Library, including access to books and the initiative Rediscover Reading, digital resources, educational workshops, literacy programs, technology assistance and community events. They also highlighted free membership opportunities, online databases, language learning tools and support services available to students, families and residents.

In addition, staff explained how community members can access Library materials both in person and remotely, reserve meeting spaces, participate in cultural and educational programming and receive research assistance. The discussion highlighted the Library’s role as a welcoming community hub dedicated to lifelong and digital learning, as well as access to information for all.
