Introducing The Jupiter Branch Seed Library!

Calling local gardeners and growers! Something exciting has sprouted up at the Jupiter Branch Library.

In collaboration with the Master Gardeners of the Palm Beach County Co-op Extension and the Abacoa Community Garden, the Jupiter Branch Library has opened a Seed Library! It has vegetable and flower seeds available free to anyone who visits the library. Five small packets a month can be selected that contain enough seeds to grow a few plants. Grow food like tomatoes and lettuce, or help out our local pollinators by planting some pollinator-friendly flowers. The environment (and your wallet) will thank you for it!

The seeds are yours to keep; there is nothing to return to the library. The branch keeps a nice rotating stock of items, such as the frost-resistant Floridade Tomatoes, so we encourage members to check out the Seed Library often. You must visit the branch to get seeds, we cannot send seeds to other branches, and we cannot take special requests. Please visit The Jupiter Branch Library Research Desk for more information. Happy growing!
