Free Summer Lunches for Kids at the Library

Free Summer Lunches for Kids at the Library

The Palm Beach County Library System is proud to once again team up with the School District of Palm Beach County to offer free summer lunches to all children ages 18 and younger.

Beginning Tuesday, June 3 through Friday, July 25, all Library System locations will serve nutritious meals to help keep kids fueled for fun and learning all summer long.

Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, and afternoon snacks are available from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

All meals must be consumed on-site inside the Library and cannot be taken outside the building.

Please note: There will be no lunch or snack service on Thursday, June 19, Thursday, July 3, or Friday, July 4 in observance of Juneteenth and Independence Day.

Weekend Meal Kits Also Available

In addition to weekday meals, families can also pick up free weekend meal kits every Friday while supplies last. These kits contain healthy, easy-to-prepare foods that are great for kid- and family-friendly meals over the weekend.

Weekend meal kits are available at select library locations and are offered for each child ages 18 and younger, sponsored by Feeding Dreams and the Palm Beach County Food Bank.
