The Friends of the Palm Beach County Library System Present:

Writers LIVE! 2012

Bookmark and Share

by Donna Marie Smith, Systemwide Adult Programming Coordinator

Writers Live! Our Writers LIVE! series brings the community together with authors and their books. Our fourth annual event boasts an exciting line-up of best-selling authors who will discuss their latest works, chat with you, and sign books. These talks will be held across the county at different library locations from January through April:

  • James Grippando, Lisa Gardner, Kim Harrison, M.J. Rose, and James W. Hall will thrill you with their latest best-selling page-turners.
  • Mary Kay Andrews will engage you with her lively tales sprinkled with humor, romance, and all things antique.
  • Jodi Picoult will involve you in her gripping fiction.
  • Carly Phillips will charm you with her contemporary romances.
  • Elizabeth Stuckey-French will delight you with her clever tale of revenge of “atomic” proportions.
  • Kim Harrison will intrigue you with her supernatural fantasies.
  • Florida author and Writers LIVE! veteran Tim Dorsey will visit two of our locations. What wacky adventure has Serge Storms gotten himself into this time?
  • Les Standiford and Joe Matthews will delve into the heartbreaking Adam Walsh case with their nonfiction work “Bringing Adam Home: The Abduction that Changed America.”
  • Steve Forman will entertain you with his off-beat mysteries set in Boca Raton, FL.
  • Are you a fan of the hit Showtime series “Dexter?” Jeff Lindsay will intrigue you with his latest novel, on which the show is based, during our second annual Wine & Words fundraiser for the Friends of the Library.

This series is made possible through the generous support of the Friends of the Palm Beach County Library System, Inc.
