The Friends of the Palm Beach County Library System Present: Writers LIVE! 2016

Our Writers LIVE! series brings the community together with authors and their books. Our eighth annual event boasts an exciting line up of bestselling authors who will discuss their latest works, chat with you, and sign books. These talks will be held across the county at different library locations from January through April. Featured speakers and events include:

  • Val McDermid, author of "Splinter the Silence: A Tony Hill and Carol Jordan Novel."
  • Janice Kaplan, best-selling author of "Mine are Spectacular" and the inspirational memoir "The Gratitude Diaries."
  • Scott Turow, who will be leading the 2016 Palm Beach Peril panel discussion.
  • Tami Hoag, a fifteen-time bestselling author of the Kovac/Liska series with her latest "The Bitter Season."
  • Tim Dorsey, a perennial favorite with the 19th entry in the Storm Serge series, "Coconut Cowboy."
  • Debbie Macomber, NYT best-selling author of her new book, "A Girl’s Guide to Moving On."
  • Phillip Margolin, best-winning novelist of his new book, "Violent Crimes."
  • Ronald Balson, best-selling author of "Once We Were Brothers" and his new novel, "Saving Sophie."
