Learn how create, name, move, and organize files and folders on your computer. (60 min.) Preregister.

Basic Word Processing (Hands-on)

Learn the basics of using Microsoft Word to create school reports or résumés. Some computer experience necessary. (60 min.) Preregister.

Tue, Sept. 7, 14, 21 & 28, 10:00 a.m.
Mastering the Computer Series (Hands-on)

A series of four classes designed for the computer novice. Students must be able to attend all classes in the series:
9/07 - Part 1: The Mouse.
9/14 - Part 2: PC Basics.
9/21 - Part 3: Internet Explorer.
9/28 - Part 4: Saving Files/Review.

Intermediate Word Processing (Hands-on)

Prerequisite: Basic Word Processing
Students will learn line spacing, tabs, bullets and numbering lists, headers and footers, and more.

Learn how to use Yahoo (a free, web-based e-mail program), how to send and receive mail, and how to create folders and an address book. Some computer experience is necessary. (60 min.) Preregister.

Learn to compose slides and add eye-catching effects to your presentations. (60 min.) Preregister.

Learn about inserting columns, borders and shading, word art, clip art, tables, and more. (2 hr.) Preregister.

Advanced E-mail (Hands-on)

Current e-mail users will learn advanced functions like creating an address or contact list, moving messages to a folder, and sending attachments. E-mail experience is necessary. Preregister.
