TechNews Bulletin?"

Yes, folks, this really is the last issue of TechNews Bulletin. For
the past two years, your editor has brought you tips and tricks on
searching the catalog, information on new formats (children's audio
kits, Books on Cd and DVDs) and answered questions regarding
classification and subject headings.
While this is the last paper issue of TechNews Bulletin, don't think
that TechNews is gone for good. TechNews on the Road will begin in
the near future, bringing Technical Services information to you at
the branches. Some topics of discussion will be:
• Subject searching, including how to best utilize cross references
• Where we get the information that goes in the records
• Differences between rental and permanent records (including call
numbers)
• Questions asked by staff
It's been a pleasure keeping you informed of Technical Services
issues. I look forward to meeting you to answer your questions
personally.
