 Want to be a Library Volunteen this summer?
The Palm Beach County Library System is looking for Volunteens, 12-18 years of age to assist Library staff with the summer reading program from June 7-July 30. Typical duties include registering children for the summer reading program, assisting with craft projects for story times, and shelving books, paperbacks, CDs, and DVDs.To qualify, volunteens must follow directions well, have knowledge of alphabetical and numeric order and be able to work independently or with others. If you want to develop work skills for future employment, learn more about your library and spend leisure time in a way that is helpful to others, register in person, at the youth services desk beginning May 1, 2010. Registration is limited. Have a great summer at your library! |
