Bhetty began acting at age 3, and has since appeared on TV in Moon Over Miami, Miami Vice, B.L. Stryker, Good Times, All In The Family, The Jeffersons, Sanford & Son, and The Flip Wilson Show. She recently appeared as Judge Stippler in the made for television movie, Ashamed U. Bhetty did a six-year stint as a stand-up comedienne, appearing in nightclubs in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, the Pacific Northwest and oncruise ships. She also spent two years with Bottoms Up, Las Vegas' long-running afternoon comedy spoof.

On stage she did two performances at Quest Theatre in The Colored Museum and Sissy and The Baby Jesus. She appeared as Lucetta, in Two Gentlemen of Verona, Snug in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Widow Capelet in All's Well that Ends Well, and Wife of Bath in Canterbury Tales, all with the Florida Shakespeare Festival of Nami.

With her one-woman-show, Charcoal Sketches, she expanded her horizons. Originally commissioned by The Duncan Theatre in 1995/96, Charcoal Sketches toured college campuses from Boston to Tallahassee. In its second outing, Charcoal Sketches premiered at Bailey Concert Hall, BCC Campus, and completed four performances at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach, Fla. The concert version of Charcoal Sketches is still being performed for organizations and colleges throughout the Southeast.
