There are over 120 different audiobooks to choose from in our new Learning a Language collection that are available to download and listen to from home 24/7.
Whether you’re looking to learn a few phrases for foreign travel, brush up on your pronunciation skills, or wish to become fluent, the Learning a Language collection has the audiobook for you.
All you need to start is your library card and a personal computer with Internet access. You will need to download OverDrive Media Console, a small, easy-to-use helper application available free-of-charge from our Digital Media site. Step by step instructions for searching, downloading, and listening to the available audiobooks are provided in our Quick Start Guide.
After downloading, you can listen to the audiobooks on your computer or transfer them to a compatible mp3 player. In addition, many titles can be burned to CD for listening in any home or auto CD player. Audiobooks can be checked out for 14 days and automatically expire so there are never any overdue notices or late fees to worry about.
