From cows in the Intracoastal Waterway to haunted airliners to celebrity sex scandals: it all happens in Florida. Is there a weirder state? We say no, and challenge you to prove otherwise. Eliot Kleinberg will take you on a fun romp through Palm Beach County’s colorful past.
Kleinberg will also talk about his latest book, “Wicked Palm Beach: Lifestyles of the Rich and Heinous,” which draws on his Palm Beach Post column “Post Time” and introduces you to the faces and places that shaped Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast during the prohibition era.
Eliot Kleinberg is a native of Florida, and author of a number of books about Florida history, including “Palm Beach Past: The Best of ‘Post Time’.” He has been writing for the Palm Beach Post for over 20 years, and he is a member of the Palm Beach County Historical Society. He lives in Boca Raton with his wife and two sons.
