Haitian Heritage Month programs are co-sponsored by the School District of Palm Beach County.

In celebration of Haitian Heritage Month, come enjoy free special programs at your local Library:

THE HAITI I KNOW

Maude Heurtelou, author of two novels and 25 children’s
books in English and Creole, will present a tour of the
Haiti she knows and loves through a photographic
montage of her many trips back to her native country.

County’s 2010 Haitian Heritage Month Essay Contest as
they answer the question, “How can you play a concrete
role in the reconstruction of Haiti after the January 12,
earthquake that devastated the country?” (45 min.)
