Florida Library Association Bookmark Design Contest

The FLA Membership and Public Relations Committees are sponsoring a bookmark design contest. The winning design will be used to promote awareness of FLA and highlight member benefits.

The winning design and designer will be recognized at the 2010 annual FLA conference.

Contest Guidelines:

1. Bookmark designs will be accepted until 5:00 pm, January 15, 2010.

2. Designs must be submitted in electronic format as a PDF, JPG (uncompressed), TIF file, or scanned file with 300 dpi minimum.

3. This contest is open to the public.

4. The winning design will be selected by members of the FLA Membership and PR Committees. Judges decisions are final.

5. Contestants should submit a full color design for one side of an 8.5 inch by 2.5 inch bookmark. The other side of the bookmark will be used for FLA information.

6. Submit designs electronically as an email attachment to the FLA Executive Director at faye.roberts@comcast.net. If necessary, the contact phone number for the FLA Executive Director is 386-438-5795.

7. The first design submitted by an individual will be accepted; additional designs from that individual will not be accepted.

8. Contestants are cautioned against violating copyright protections in their designs.

9. The Florida Library Association retains ALL rights to use, reproduction, and revision of the winning design.
