Celebrate the Spring Festival:
The Chinese New Year @ Your Library
The Chinese New Year always falls on the first day of spring
according to the Chinese Lunar Calendar. In 2008, the New Year
starts on February 7. During this time the Chinese people will
be busy cleaning their houses and shopping for a big feast on
New Year’s Eve.
Want to surprise your friend with a new talent? Immerse yourself

that speak standard Mandarin Chinese if you need
any help. We are only a phone call away!
