 Meet authors Pamela Acheson and Richard Myers as they discuss "A Year in Palm Beach: Life in an Alternate Universe," a book chronicling an ordinary couple’s year in an extraordinary town. A book signing will follow. (60 min.)
Ever wish you could just pack it in one day and move to a new life, a new place, follow a dream? That is exactly what the authors do. One rainy summer day they impulsively decide to step out of their life and move to the legendary island of Palm Beach for a year. It is a year filled with fun and frustration, foxes and Ferraris, crazy friends, and even crazier neighbors.
What they discover about Palm Beach, what they discover during their year in the town, and what they discover about themselves changes the authors’ lives forever.

About the Authors:
 Pamela Acheson and Richard B. Myers are the coauthors of “The Best Romantic Escapes in Florida,” have contributed to numerous editions of Fodor's Florida, and have written about Florida and Palm Beach for a variety of national and international magazines. They live in Palm Beach, Florida.
