Busch Wildlife Sanctuary Presents Florida Animals

To celebrate Families Reading Together, the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary brought the natural environment to our branches! Their unique wildlife program featured live animals including some of the following creatures: alligators, crocodiles, hawks, owls, snakes, skunks, opossums, and more. Children learned about the natural history of the animals, Florida’s ecology, food chains, and endangered species.

Battle of the Books 2009

Four teams battled it out during the annual Battle of the Books tournament. After four rounds it came down to sudden death to determine the winner. Congratulations to The Loyal Order of BOB team from the Main Library!
