The Great American Read premieres May 22! Out of 100 books, one will be America's favorite. Voting will open this summer after the first two-hour episode airs. It's a great time to read the books you haven't read yet, or re-read your favorites.

The Palm Beach County Library System recognizes the importance of providing information to the community regarding mental health issues. With that in mind, we're offering free programs in partnership with the Boynton Beach Mental Health Committee and the National Alliance on Mental Illness Palm Beach County during National Mental Health Month.
Third Glades Citizen’s Criminal Justice Academy to be Held in June
Members of the public are invited to attend the third annual Glades Citizen’s Criminal Justice Academy. Sessions will be held on five consecutive Mondays from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on June 4, June 11, June 18, June 25, and July 2, 2018 at the Belle Glade Library/Civic Center located at 725 N.W. 4th St. Belle Glade, 33430. The classes are free, and dinner will be served. Anyone over the age of 14 is welcome, and up to 15 hours of community service credit can be earned.
