Get the Birding Supplies You Need

Why birding backpacks? Palm Beach County is a world-renowned destination for birders and nature lovers, and the Library System has maintained one of the largest ornithological collections in the Southeast United States for over 35 years, thanks to its partnership with the Audubon Society of the Everglades. This new venture will allow the Library to serve as a resource for both novice and expert birders.

Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM)

Palm Beach County Victim Services and Certified Rape Crisis Center (PBC Victim Services) and the Library System are recognizing April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) and our goal is to raise public awareness about sexual violence and educate communities on how to prevent it. This year’s theme is: “I Ask” – clarifying the “consent” conversation.

the Tri-Cities Proclamation

Black History Month Proclamation

The Palm Beach County Library System received a proclamation from Mayor Mack Bernard declaring February 2019 as Black History Month in Palm Beach County. The award was presented during the Board of County Commissioners meeting on Feb 05.

Partial Reopening of the Main Library

On Monday, January 7 at 9:00 am the Palm Beach County Main Library at 3650 Summit Blvd. in West Palm Beach will reopen to the public. Construction will continue in the children and teen area and as a result, the CreationStation and the computer lab will not be available.
