Learn Computer Skills from Home:
If you can't visit the library to attend one of our hands-on training sessions, try the online Learning Express Computer Skills training modules.
Follow this link and enter your library card number for access to several different self-paced, interactive courses on Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word in both 2003 and 2007 versions. Each program offers skill level training from Basic to Intermediate through Advanced instruction. There are also tutorials to learn Corel WordPerfect X3, Windows Vista, XP and Mac OS X.
These tutorials use Adobe Flash and require speakers or headphones for following along with the instruction.
Additional Online Tutorials:
The
Computer Tutorials page links to other online tutorials
for additional training. The Palm Beach County Library
is not responsible for these sites but includes them as other
informational sources where you can learn about computers and
software. |
