Comedian Tiffany Haddish to Read Children’s Book at Palm Beach County Library System’s Lantana Road Branch
Award-winning actress, comedian, bestselling author and philanthropist Tiffany Haddish will be at the Palm Beach County Library System’s Lantana Road Branch reading her book "Layla, the Last Black Unicorn" this Saturday, May 13 starting at 10:30 am.
In order to make this a magical experience for young readers, we are giving priority admission to children and accompanying adults on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage others to follow the Library’s Facebook and Instagram pages (@pbclibrary on both platforms) to see how to stream the experience.
Haddish was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine in 2018 and The Hollywood Reporter listed her among the 100 most powerful people in entertainment in both 2018 and 2019. Her breakthrough came in with a leading role in the comedy film Girls Trip (2017). She is also the founder of the She Ready Foundation, an organization focused on inspiring, protecting and providing resources for youth impacted by foster care.
This event is open to all families with children, and will be a story time of magic and self-acceptance that won’t soon be forgotten.
